I watch stuff like this and realize how far we’ve come:
The disparity between the rate of technological innovation in traditional education and the rate elsewhere is society is absolutely incredible. Shocking really. Most teachers have no clue how to integrate technology into the classroom and at the same time you have other segments of society that are pulling off stuff like the video above. It makes you wonder how much longer the field of traditional teaching is going to be relevant.

Very cool. Given the dropping costs of display technologies and rapid evolution of virtual worlds the accessibility of these virtual conferences, Webex will be a dinosaur overnight.

Sure this is great but how early is too early for technology. If a child can’t write, spell, or count, but can produce a wicked web page shoudl they gradute with honors?
